Supportive, Professional Care For Your Body

Therapeutic Massage: Using techniques including Swedish, myofascial, mobilizations, hot and cold therapies among others, therapeutic massage involves the direct manipulation of the soft tissues and joints. Massage can have many benefits including helping to manage pain, prevent or rehabilitate injury and promote general wellness.

Perinatal Massage: Your body undergoes many physiological changes during the pre and postnatal periods. Perinatal massage can help you manage the pain and discomfort that might come along with these changes. We make a few positioning changes to accommodate and support the pregnant body to make sure you are comfortable throughout your treatment.

Thai Massage: An effective stretching technique that can assist with mobility and range of motion with the possible effect of reducing perceived pain. The therapist moves the client through a range of gentle, slow movements using various parts of their body to stabilize and stretch the client. Thai massage is performed on a heated mat on the floor. It is administered over clothing and as such, no oil is used. Please wear stretchy, comfortable clothing.

Hot Stone Massage: This heated massage technique can be ideal for increasing the response of the parasympathetic nervous system and is for clients who are looking for deep relaxation and possibly for those who feel best with light/moderate pressure and/or suffer from chronic pain. Various sizes of stones are warmed and applied to the body by the therapist.

TMJ Intraoral Massage: Massage focused on the muscles of the jaw (the temporomandibular joint) and face both externally and intraorally (from the inside of the mouth). It is effective in helping to manage pain and discomfort that may result from injury, grinding of the teeth or clenching of the jaw.

Cupping Therapy: Cupping is a technique that can positively affect the nervous system and help with pain management. A vacuum seal is applied through the cups which can help lift tissue layers, increase the permeability of tissues and promote local blood flow.

Lymphatic Drainage: A deeply relaxing, gentle massage technique that is applied to the skin in a specific pattern. It may assist in the reduction of edema which can result from injury or surgery by manually stimulating the lymphatic system.
